About The Acrobatic Studio: 

We offer recreational & competitive programs, and provide athletes with a challenging and fun environment, where they can live, grow, learn. Located in Spring Bank, Alberta (4 min west of Calgary), and easy to drive from west Calgary. We have a 3000 sq ft facility especially designed for Acrobatic Gymnastics, great equipment, and a great community.

Position Description: 

An excellent opportunity for a coach to join our Acrobatic Gymnastic programs. In this role, you will be working alongside of the head coach, with the Acrobatic Gymnastic competitive and performance programs. We work as a coaching team balancing our strengths and fostering growth as coaches.  

 

Salary and Terms of Employment:

• The rate of pay for this position will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.

• This is an hourly position, requiring flexible hours, evenings and weekend work during our operating season September-June.

• The Coach will not only be responsible for training and tracking a specific group but will also work in a team coaching environment. 

• 1-2 recreational classes are required in this position. 

• Demonstrated ability to be creative and innovative in the program

• Must be able to bear weight as required to spot or support athletes of all ages and abilities. 

• Excellent understanding and demonstration of class management.

• Superior relationship building and communication skills. 

 

Qualifications:

The Coach will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Age 16 minimum

• C1 or higher NCCP Artistic Trained/Certified or NCCP Competition 1 Trained/Certified

• Have the interest and be willing to increase NCCP level certifications

• Respect in Sport Trained

• Making Ethical Decisions

• Trampoline Trained

• Valid Criminal record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check

• Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Training

 

Preference given to applicants with experience coaching Acrobatic Gymnastics, and or performance teams.
